FAQs

Everything people ask before hiring me.

If your question isn't here, message me on WhatsApp — I answer these all day anyway.

Money and commitment

Is the ad spend included in your fee?
No. You pay Meta directly for the ads, and you pay me for running them. That way you can see exactly what went to the platform and what went to me — and if we ever stop working together, the spend just continues under your control.
What budget do I need to start?
Around ₹500 a day is enough to test properly. Below that we're guessing — Meta needs a certain amount of data before it can find the right people, and starving a campaign makes results slower and more expensive, not cheaper.
Am I tied into a contract?
Month to month. If it isn't working, you tell me and we stop. I'd rather lose a client than have someone paying me out of politeness. I have worked freelance since 2022, alongside agency roles, so I am used to being judged month by month.
How do you charge?
Not on the standard plans — those are flat monthly fees, so my income doesn't go up just because I spend more of your money. On larger accounts I'll sometimes do a smaller retainer plus a performance component, agreed upfront. Either way you get the number in writing before anything starts.

Access and ownership

Do I need to give you access to my ad account?
Yes, but as a partner on your own Business Manager. The account stays in your name, your card stays on it, and you can remove my access any time. I never ask anyone to run ads through my account — that's how businesses end up losing their audiences and their history when a freelancer walks away.
What if I don't have a Business Manager set up?
I'll set it up with you, in your name, on a call. It takes about twenty minutes and it's yours permanently.
Who owns the creative and the copy?
You do. Ads, scripts, captions, landing page copy — all of it stays yours, and you can keep using it after we stop working together.

Results and timelines

How fast will I see results?
First leads usually come in within the first week. A stable cost per lead takes longer — normally two to four weeks of testing before I know which angle to put budget behind. Anyone promising you results on day three is guessing.
What will my leads actually cost?
It depends far more on your offer and market than on me. On one education account I ran, two campaigns on nearly identical budgets in the same month came in at ₹165 and ₹651 a lead. On a retail account, recruitment leads ran at ₹5.76. A ₹2 lakh product sold to a narrow audience will cost more than all of those, and it should. After an audit I'll give you a realistic range for your business — I'd rather quote a number you'll actually hit than win the work with a better one.
What if the campaign doesn't work?
Then I tell you, early, and we change the approach or stop. Sometimes the problem isn't the ads at all — it's the offer, the price, or the fact that nobody's calling the leads back. I'll say that out loud rather than quietly spend another month of your budget.
How do you report?
Weekly: what was spent, how many enquiries came in, what each cost, and what I'm changing next. Plain language, short enough to read on your phone.

Organic, content and creative

Do you only do paid ads?
No. I also handle organic social strategy and day-to-day management, content marketing plans, basic SEO and content writing, video concepts and scripts, ad copy, influencer partnerships and landing pages. Paid is where my strongest numbers are, but an ad pointing at a dead profile wastes money, so the two usually need to move together.
Do you make the creative as well?
I write the hooks, scripts and copy, and direct what the creative needs to say. If you have a designer or editor, I brief them. If you don't, I'll tell you what to shoot on your phone — in lead generation, that often outperforms polished production anyway.
Can you post for us, or just plan it?
Either. Some clients want a strategy and calendar they run themselves; others want me scheduling, writing captions and answering comments and DMs. Tell me which you need.
How does the influencer side work?
I find creators whose audience genuinely overlaps yours, handle the outreach and what they'll deliver, and brief them properly so the content sells instead of just existing. Follower count is the least useful thing to choose on.

Working together

What do you need from me to start?
Access to your ad account, whatever you know about your best customers, and someone who picks up the phone when leads come in. That last one matters more than people expect — good leads go cold within the hour.
Do you work with businesses outside Kerala?
Yes. I am based in Kollam and work out of Kochi, but all of this runs remotely — I have handled accounts for clients in the US, UK and Africa as well as across India. Calls on WhatsApp or Google Meet, whichever suits you.
How quickly do you reply?
Same day on WhatsApp during the week. If something is on fire in an active account, faster than that.
Will you work with my competitor?
Not in the same city and category at the same time. If that comes up, I'll tell you before taking anything on.

Still have a question?

Ask it directly. I'd rather answer honestly now than have you find out three weeks in.
